Ok.. so you wanna be consumed by evil.. and use the dark hidden
techniques of the shotokan style.. First of, I would like to state that Akuma is a fighter with a lotta power and it would need a lotta skill to be able to maximise the strength of this demon! So I suggest you should have mastered using Ryu or at least, attain a level of fighting with him so as to use Akuma very very well.. If you read the previous page, you'll see his list of moves.. All filled with evil intent ooooh. Kinda makes you wanna think.. doesn't it??? .. Ok enough of preambles.. let's get to business.. It's best to start with an ordinary Zankuu hadou in the air.. This gives akuma some sorta edge.. cause with that move, you can evaluate the speed and reaction time of ur opponent. The ease at which he defends this attack would say a lot.. If he's not quick enough, or doesn't know how to get outta trouble, then you've got an edge.. but if he turns the table on ya like this.. then you'll be in serious trouble! That about that.. you now have the ability to variety of attacks to take down ur opponent.. Start with a medium speed zankuu hadou and attack with some nice ground combos.. begin with a sweep(works 40% of the time... and don't ask how I figured that out
If ur able to get him back to the corner... then you use your custom
combos to do the rest of the job.. Jumping a lot would do you a little bit
of good if you're fighting with larger characters like Sentinel and
Juggernaught.. but if you're up against a Spiderman or Chunli, then I
suggest you remain on the ground, and use the ashura warp to get behind
and counter attack! This keeps u away from nasty moves and gives you the
upper hand.. Akuma may be a strong character that requires skill but just some simple basic skills would help you a long way.. So I suggest you master the basics strategies of shotokan fighting when using him.. You know.. fireball for fireball and things like that... Try not to get caught in the air doing the Temma gou Zankuu while your opponent is somewhere else cause it gives him an opening.. In due time, more combos would be posted here to help ya.. |
